Quintus 5, 1670
From Commodore Z
Von Drachenheim., Privateer of the Republic of Montaigne
Greetings.
It has recently
come to my attention, Sir, that we have come to a common interest in the
Republic of Montaigne. I, as Citizen & Privateer of the Republic, wish
reasonable prices & fair trade for the citizenry. From your blockade at the
trade river, I assume that you wish to secure permanent, perhaps more exclusive,
trade with the nation. I believe that in these ventures, we may be able to come
to an agreement which would be mutually beneficial.
I would like to meet, at a time & place of your choosing, to discuss this matter further. I can be contacted most quickly by letter at the Drachenheim Estate in Freiburg.
Thank you for your
time & consideration.
Most Sincerely,
Zylvainette du Crieux Von Drachenheim
